REMINDERS

Member Visits

To all the members of the congregation: I've made it a goal of mine to visit you these next few months. I'm very excited to visit and get to know you better. It would be a tremendous blessing to visit!

I know schedules are busy, but I am willing to work around your schedule to get a visit on the calendar. Please contact me directly at vicar@mtolivesuamico.com, or (262)349-8691 (call or text) or complete a green form (available on the table in the entryway) to let me know your availability. These visits are just me getting to know you better and just talk about life at Mt. Olive and life in general. I can't wait to visit with you!

Spring Clean Up Day – May 11th

It’s time to give our church home a little spring cleaning.  Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11th.  All are welcome!  Please join us for all or part of the morning.  We have lots of projects and tasks that need attention. A signup sheet is located on the bulletin board.  Call or text Jon Schultz at 920-362-0943 with any questions. We hope to see you there!

Shut In Visit Assistants

Greetings men of the congregation! As we learn to navigate the vacancy, there are some things that need action that the vacancy pastor isn't responsible for. One of these things is shut in visits. The shut-ins we have are awesome and love their Lord and love it when they're visited. I would love to train and have you come along with me during some of these visits. I'll take as many men as are willing to learn how to prepare a 5 minute devotion, distribute Lord's Supper, and just enjoy conversation. I know schedules are busy, but here are some dates I'd love to have you tag along on.

April 24,25,26 (W/Th/F), May 28,29,30 (T/W/Th), June 25,26,27 (T/W/Th), July 10,11 (W/Th)

The visits usually last 30-45 minutes, no more than an hour. If the Spirit moves you to volunteer some of your time these next few months, that would be a tremendous blessing! Thanks, Vicar Biga.  My contact info: vicar@mtolivesuamico.com (262) 349-8691

NEW Summer Bible Study!

We are excited to announce a new summer Bible Study opportunity. The study, Digging In, will help us answer the most pressing questions the unbelieving world asks of Jesus' followers. Digging In is for everyone; young and old, men and women, single and married.

It will be held at Mt. Olive on Thursday mornings at 9:00am., June 6th - August 22nd, and lead by Pastor Workentine. The study will be open to anyone and is being promoted in the Green Bay area churches – a great opportunity to meet other WELS members.  We'll be using the book by MLC professor Mark Paustian, "Prepared to Answer".  A copy of the book is required for the class.

You may register for the class at the link provided below. You will also be able to request and purchase a copy of the book through the registration. Registration is open now and will close May 31st.  Please contact Chuck Adrian (chuck.adrian66@gmail.com) or 920.562.2432 (cell/txt) with any questions.
